Musical Theatre Dance

Our Mission: To provide a positive and inclusive environment where young people are empowered, build self-confidence and develop essential life-skills through participation in the performing arts.

Learn the Foundations of Musical Theatre Dance while having FUN!

These classes invite kids to move, perform, and have fun to their favourite musical theatre songs, no matter their skill level. These classes are designed to be stress free and allow children to learn the basic steps and foundations of musical theatre in a judgment-free zone.

Our purpose is to let kids have fun without worrying about being perfect. This is great for beginners, kids who have had a negative experience with dance, or children who just want to have fun with dance.

In each class, students learn choreography and explore characters through scenes and storytelling whilst incorporating dance, music and acting. Classes build creativity and self-expression, helping students grow as performers while having fun in a supportive environment.

Three of the girls have long, light-brown or red hair. The room has windows with mesh screens, a whiteboard, and beige walls.

Classes are designed and delivered by Child Players alumnus and director, Jess Fellows. Jess has danced for over 15 years and has a bachelor's in stage and screen (Acting). She grew up with Child Players and has been on the directing team for 6 years. She will take the ethos of Child Players and apply it to dance, offering classes that inspire young actors to tell stories through dance, music, and acting.
