OUR MISSION
Child Players ACT was created to provide an opportunity for young people to grow creatively in a positive, nurturing, inclusive, and supportive environment. A place where children feel supported, safe, confident and comfortable to express themselves and develop a life-long enjoyment and appreciation of theatre. We are committed to providing safe, fun, and inclusive programs that are audition-free. We prioritise positive experiences for all participants to make theatre fun and foster a love for theatre in the next generation.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
All of our theatre educators share a philosophy of equity and access to theatre and the arts for all children. We believe that the most important thing for a child in a theatre education program and production is to have a positive educational and performance experience. We believe that the process should be given as much value, as the final performance itself. We are dedicated to giving all children, no matter their age, level of experience, or ability, the opportunity to develop their theatre skills, build their confidence and create theatre together.

THEATRE EDUCATION PROGRAMS & CLASSES
We offer a variety of theatre education programs and drama classes for children and young people of all ages, interests and abilities. Our main theatre programs include our Child Players - Theatre Training Program (includes training in both onstage and backstage skills), Musical Theatre Training Program and School Holiday Drama Programs. All of these programs teach theatre and acting skills, but also include the opportunity for students to develop their theatre skills further by performing in a full-length play or musical. We have written many original scripts for these programs that we now offer to schools and community groups. This allows us to spread the joy of creating theatre even further!
